Wish List

Postby Burnf » 23 Jul 2009, 11:39

1-Make source code available and/or open source it.
---Many more helpers with project, plus assurance for the rest of us that this prog will last beyond your interest.

2-Use the same file types as HQ Card Generator and Deck Builder for set info.
---Will allow others to make set updates and custom sets. It will save you time.

3-Add more deck file format support.
---Should be able to load MWSDeck files. I'd also like to see CSV support.

4-Card Gen included
---My image library is primarily cropped images. Will also help support for custom cards for casual "for fun" players.

4-Theme creation guide.
---The game needs a visual update.

====================

3b-CSV with custom card support..
---Would be extremely cool to support custom cards in deck.

1.) Not gonna happen until I fully move the engine to the server. ( security by obscurity was probably not the best choice hehe)

2.) Set info and sets will be xml one day, not a high priority atm, since everything is plain text and easy to understand when you open it in notepad++ or something.

3.) mws decks should be loadable, if not, this is a bug. CSV would be doable I guess, but not a priority.

4.) card rendering like mws has is pretty complex to create, but it's on my list yes.
use full images for now.

5.) theme creation is being worked on now, with the new graphics engine.
when it's fixed, i'll work on a better guide for theming, because it can get pretty complex due to all the options one has. I'll probably also launch a theming-contest with prize money for top 3 on a mtg website.

Thanks
