No again.
After doing everything you wrote above, whenever I restarted OPT server after changing the port to 4747, it just would keep resetting itself to 3000.
I've done this port change with it before when it was in it's own folder when I tried other ways around this problem, restarted and it was on 4747 so I know it works, but in the renamed folder of Magic Workstation & changing the exe to MWSPlay, it just kept resetting the port back to 3000. So I couldn't even log on with the host machine to the OPTserver, which is never a problem, so this method won't work at all.
Anyway, I'll keep using your app as long as you have a server running for it. As for my LAN connection, I really am starting to think that your OPTServer software has something amiss when it comes to connecting to a LAN, but again, that is a guess on my part. If it is coming from my network or hardware, damn if I know how to find the problem.

Hm, I have it running just fine on my LAN, so that's not the problem.
The fact that it is resetting the port makes me think you do not run the server as admin and the program hasn't got the proper priviledges. After you change the port to 4747 and close the server, is there a server.ini file in the folder that has the 4747 value somewhere?

I tried again because I did forget to run it as admin. I was able to connect the PC as host , but the same thing happens as always, the guest simply can't connect no matter what we try.
Since you have it working on your LAN, I guess there might be something that is occurring on my network or with my router or who knows what. I will try & get some help from a best buy geek squad member or Apple person to see if they have any ideas before I install a server. There has to be an easy fix for this, it's just finding where the problem is occurring that is hard to find.
Anyway, as long as your server is up 'n running and you don't mind keeping it so, at least I can play there with your app that my wife & I have really taken to.
Thanks, as always, for your patience & your help, I appreciate it!

i am having this same issue. i know for a fact my ports are open and forwarded correctly. (forwarding port 3000 udp/tcp to this computer)
i can connect to the temporary server you listed (server.onlineplaytable.com), but i cannot connect to opt.magic-league.com.
my guess would be that it's something running on the server where opt.magic-league.com is located if you can rule out it's not the OPT server software, itself.
edit: it would be nice to be able to check this out vs other players (i'm trying to migrate from MWS). if you need any help, let me know. i have lots of free time and i can help you test/troubleshoot.

Any chance you will let Opt 0.99t+ connect to server.onlineplaytable.com?
I'm trying to promote it's use!

if you have any cubes that need to go on there, let me know
(a cube is a deckfile with it's NAME: and DESCRIPTION: tags filled out, renamed to mycubename.cube)
