Swarm Synergy (Muck Snake).... spawning is still being done at the initial spawn cost of the creature, even if swarm synergy should have been triggered.

Fixed, will be in next revision! All synergy X abilities were not doing the right thing.Anborn wrote:Swarm Synergy (Muck Snake).... spawning is still being done at the initial spawn cost of the creature, even if swarm synergy should have been triggered.

not a bug/issue... but a suggestion for future release.
With the disappearance of the dreamcatcher. Does anyone else know of a web db that lists all the stats/pictures for each mini?
Either way, could you put in a piece viewer into your program? One that might also help then build warbands to save? Just a thought.

Bug: Flanking ability. Should only work if you have more creatures local than your opponent. Its currently set to work greater than or equal to (at least thats what I'm guessing). Just had a 1v1 with an Omen Locust and it allowed Flanking 2 to be triggered, and damage increased by 2.

Issue: AI Location spawning - restrict the AI from placing locations in either the first or the second turn. I can't see any circumstance where this is beneficial. The current AI (on almost any setting) will occasionally drop HBT/PTC turn 1 in the portal... or either turn 2, in B4/D2.
Issue: AI Appease selection - maybe restrict the AI from making a move where it would self-appease a piece just spawned (seen it with lord slobber, eater of hope, knight of autumn, etc.)
(may be fixed with the new AI planned for next version).

Yeah, bummer they took it down. That's a good idea. There are command line arguments to dump all of the minis' stats but it is text only. I'll try and squeeze something in for the next release.Anborn wrote:not a bug/issue... but a suggestion for future release.

Did a quick check and it doesn't seem to be doing the >= so I'll have to look further.Anborn wrote:Bug: Flanking ability. Should only work if you have more creatures local than your opponent. My goal is for that stuff to stop w/ my AI updates but those are very good ideas (not spawning turn 1/2 and self appease). I could still use them in some way.Anborn wrote:Issue: AI Location spawning - restrict the AI from placing locations in either the first or the second turn. Now... does someone have an archive of all the old images of the mini's from dreamcatcher? If someone would like to provide them to me, let me know. I "might" could recreate it and make it available.

They look great in game too.

The bases were only images of the outside and all the text (except for the blade images etc) were just HTML.

trample: seems to work sometimes, but not others. even a basic trample (no skirmish wierdness) doesn't always seem to work properly (ie damage not carrying over to trampled cell).
candescent warrior / rampage - not taking effect.

I'll check out Rampage, as for the Trample, if you could tuck away the game log in a game you see it it would be a great help.Anborn wrote:trample: seems to work sometimes, but not others. even a basic trample (no skirmish wierdness) doesn't always seem to work properly (ie damage not carrying over to trampled cell).

Rampage is fixed! Surprised it wasn't crashing actually (I was casting a pointer to the wrong type). Thanks for the report. I haven't played with Candescent Warrior yet, but man that is one cool piece.
Will be in the next release which I hope to be soon. 2 new AI algorithms in the next release one of which does quite well with a multi-core machines. My 16 core Mac can play quite a game.

yes, candescent warrior appears to be a pretty badass piece... ferocity is an insane ability, as is rampage.telengard wrote:Rampage is fixed! Excellent news on the AI front. I'm still batting 1.000 in over 30 games with warbands of various types. looking to workout my dual quadcore home machine soon

as soon as I get another game with the trample issue, I'll be sure to save/post the log.
thx again for the hard work.
