Glad to hear it helps. The tree depth is the big one. That's the # of moves ahead the AI will look.Anborn wrote:Telengard,

As for the number of threads, if you have more than 2 processors/cores, you can set the number of threads to that value. So if you have 4, you can set it to 4. Combined w/ the tree depth it allows the AI to go through a lot more of the search space.
Thanks for the bug report, the gambit one surprises me. The evaluation function should have seen that giving the victory point would cause an end game condition *unless* all other options also led to the AI player losing which I doubt it could tell for sure at a depth of 7. I'll try and do some more testing having the AI play the same band/pieces again, and if duplicated I will provide a game log.

I believe I have a fix for the Locus Drive issue. I've attached an updated piece definition for Blademiller to this post. Just drop it in over the existing one (under pieces/anvilborn).

No worries much on the Gambit, the AI was in a no win situation, only had 1 piece on the board compared to my gazillion, so it wouldn't have mattered in the long run if haste was triggered or not, just wanted to make sure there was some kind of check in place.
I found through some testing that the Droning Damselfly... has charge instead of ambush. i've adjusted mine, but something to include in the next patch/update.
I'll drop a couple of my wardbands this weekend for folks to add to their collection.

In testing the new Blademiller/Locus Drive... it seems to be activating at the end of the spawn phase instead of the beginning.

Figured out the issue w/ the updated piece definition file I posted. I posted one that has stuff that isn't in the latest release, but will be in the next one. This Blademiller attachment has the fix applied to the right version.
This fix will be in the next release (as well as fixed for Bonecarved Idol) and I hope to put it out this weekend. Just doing some more testing.

channel hiveling 1 - on queen chrysota... seems to be taking effect while the queen is in reserves (and i'ld imagine while she's in the graveyard).
