New version (1.0.26) released, now with GUI interface

Postby telengard » 23 Nov 2009, 23:15

Just put it up, there will be more work done on the GUI, but it's quite playable now. OS X version will hopefully be up Tuesday night if all goes well. I hope to have a nicer background image soon too.

More bugfixes in this release too (thanks to those who sent them, you are now in doc/THANKS.) :)

Enjoy, and please let me know of any issues/bugs that come up. I haven't done a ton of testing the engine w/ the new GUI but it should be fine.

Looks nice and is easier to use then the previous interface. Unfortunately norton's Sonar believes that the App is a virus. :( same with wagic. I have no idea why it thinks the .26 is one while .25 is fine. Anyways nice job!

Thanks, glad you are enjoying it.

Wow, that is weird. Could you send me a little more info about the type of virus it thought it found?

thanks,

Thanks for the kind words.

Due to copyright reasons I can't include any of that stuff with the program. :( I do appreciate the offer though.

However, next release will have provisions to add your own images to show on the minis. :)

Well norton has this thing called Sonar. Its like constant protection. whenever a application starts on your computer it scans it. It detects how risky it is based up on how many other norton users have it, and some other file related stuff im not too sure about. Im sorry if i made it sound like the program had a virus in it, it dosent, same with Wagic, norton just regards it as a suspicious program and likes to close it down and stuff. Continue as normal i can get around it, just slightly annoying. I have no idea why sonar dosent block the normal ap, on the one with the GUI.
