I like to play with images of the real pieces, so I thought I'd share them.
These images are only for released sets - so up to Night Fusion.
Some of them look hilarious all squashed up!

For anyone new to this, these should be extracted to the res/pieces/artwork folder.

Got around to trying these out tonight and they are just great. Much easier to identify stuff if you've played the real game. As much as I like the MtG artwork, the pics of the minis work better. And yep, they do squash a little weird in some cases.

Does anyone know of some automated way to edit these images (the pics of the miniatures)? Unfortunately, I'm not very savvy with graphics. I'd like to remove the bases from the images, so for instance instead of seeing this:



You'd see this:

extreme could do it with a photoshop script. Picasa can crop too but I don't know about batches. Anyway if you can upload the pics someone here would be glad to fix them for you.

Great job with the cropping extreme, they are perfect.

I'm going to put these somewhere to make them available for everyone.

No sense waiting for a new release to get these out. I've taken the images that extreme cropped (thanks again!) and also resized and padded all of them to fit the aspect ratio of the base image area (so no more weird stretching etc) and also added around 30 images for Serrated Dawn pieces using images of my homemade proxies.

I've placed the images here, but if anyone can mirror them or put them somewhere more permanent that would be greatly appreciated.
