2.0.5 released 64 bit MacOS port, lots of fixes

Postby telengard » 22 Jul 2018, 21:42

Still plugging along, been a little over 1 year since the last release. I will probably always be working on this, would really LOVE to get some bug reports.

This release fixes some crashes, some infinite loop issues, engine fixes, piece corrections, and some other stuff.

I also revamped how ability resolution is done. Abilities that relied on things like sacrificing or banishing never ensured the action happened. All abilities now handle this properly.

I also ported the code and recompiled all libraries for 64 bit on the Mac. This was a lot of work and a lot of changes, so there may still be some issues there. If you have any, be sure to save off the game.log inside of the application bundle.

Hopefully folks are still playing this, let me know if you are!

Hey Telengard, thanks for sticking with it man.

I wish there were more Dreamblade players too. Have you shared at other board game or Dreamblade specific sites?

Thanks!

Heya Huggybaby,

Thanks!

The only other place where Dreamblade players would be is boardgamegeek, and the folks there do know about it.
There are actually a good amount of people using it, I have monitoring cookies on my web site to see the downloads and it is downloaded from all over the world, and a lot more than I would have thought. I think most people just try it or play it and don't feel the need to get involved with the development, which is OK.
