I have volunteered to put together the next beta release and will post it Friday or Saturday. We can give Dennis a break from this portion of the project as he attempts to develop a new routine around the home with the baby.

I'm really digging the auto-sized hand.
Not sure if I really like the name and mana cost overlay though. Can we get an option for it?
Also, drawing the black border for the full-size picture works for most of our cards without borders, but there are a few odd ones that have the black border already. Without adding the border, my eye can flip between card pictures with or without the border without notice... as soon as it comes to one with a double-thick border, it jumps out at me.

Although, I really haven't been that busy since I haven't been working (and my son sleeps most of the day).

Well, Forge is basically one big prototype. I made a ton of bad choices. Some I knew where bad and some are bad looking back. I always think it is hard working with someone elses code, what were they think?!?Snacko wrote:The code isn't hard to understand, but sometimes it's hard to understand why some suboptimal choices were made. This leads to very bad code as most projects growth can be described as organic, meaning things get very ugly unless a good foundation is made early. As with a living and breathing organism it's very hard to change underlying principles after a certain stage.
