This is not the latest beta (it's at least 2 months old).

Where is the newest beta situated. That one I downloaded last week following a link from one of the Forge forums.

Oops, I'm sorry... it actually looks like you do have the latest Beta (it's just that the revision number and date at the top haven't been updated properly, I just noticed).

As for the error, I'm not getting it with 0716... the one thing I can think of is unchecking the "New GUI" box in the main menu (or checking it, if it's already unchecked).
