Yea the paying directly works a bit nicer than it did before (snow lands pay for snow if its around, then colored).
But the paying from mana pool needs a bit more work, which I don't think I'll have the time for this week. Hopefully I can get it so where it'll "feel" just right. I prefer to err on the side of caution, and if it's not clear which mana to use first. X mana in pool, X-1 mana needs to be paid.

I wonder how tought it'd be to have "chambers" in the pool. One for each color, and colorless. So you could just click on the red mana chamber to pay with red mana, or what have you.

Internally representing them will be a helluva lot easier than making it function any better in the UI. The Mana Pool "card" object is just a convenient hook to user input, without dealing with adding buttons to a crowded layout.

With some of the kinds of stuff Snacko has done, I wonder if we couldn't make the colored balls (I'd remake the image to have bigger balls of course :-P) of the mana pool image into hotspots, with numbers....
PS - Does anyone else have the balls to use balls more often in their response?
