Download the 2-14 version of forge and copy over the contents of the res folder into your project. You want to match the files in the res folder with the source code. It might help.

I got the 2-09 version (closest to 2-14) and success! My rampant growth works too. Thx everyone for the help, lets see if i can get basic cards cranking!
