Sure, I'll even make a changelog that explains fixes/additions

At some point soon, you might as well just set this up as a new branch of Forge in the SVN.
Before long there may become too many changes in the main release that won't be reflected in this one.

Yes, you're right, and I will do this soon.
However, currently changes in the main release still do get carried over to this Shandalar clone, since it's just a snapshot of my local version of Forge (which I update all the time through SVN - it just has a lot of extra classes included). When I uploaded the test version a few days ago, it had everything that was in around ~R1900.

Still doesn't work for me, and every time I try and fail, another javaw.exe process gets left behind. I just updated to the latest java just in case, but no help.

This is very strange... the error you're getting means it can't find the first parameter that's passed (and the .bat file should take care of this).
Does anyone else get this error?

So the question is, instead of calling this the Shandalar clone we should probably come up with a name?
Adventure Mode and ForgeRPG are the two most obvious ones.
Let's brainstorm some ideas since this is more of an "influenced by" portion of the program rather than a "simple clone"

During the coding process, I started out calling it "Adventure Quest", but then I noticed myself calling certain classes "Map Campaign".
Either one works for me, although there's probably a better name...

Hmm... do you want a "name" like Shandalar's? As in more-or-less cool sounding meaningless letters?
Or do you want a combination of words or some such with meaning? Such as Forge RPG. ^.^
