Jaedayr,
It seems what you are doing is legit as long as I understand your timing.

Activate mantle, let it resolve boosting one creature. Equip it to a new creature, and then activate mantle for that creature. You can only move equipment at Sorcery speed so you can't do this during combat.

The game state doesn't care what state things were previously in, only if you can pay the costs at activation time (tapping or untapping in this example). As long as you have enough mana, Boa Constrictor and Umbral Mantle would give you +5/+5 for each cycle of tapping/untapping. So you can easily attack with Constrictor and after blockers pump big time.

It's SetInfo line should be:

SetInfo:MBP|Special|http://magiccards.info/scans/en/mbp/5.jpg
Should the SVN be updated or are there more cards like this which would be better dealt with by a change to setInfoScript?

There's only a handful of them. It's easier to just do it by hand for those.

Whenever I open a deck in deck editor that I had previously saved, the Rarity column is blank for every card. I opened a deck, saved it, opened another deck and then opened the first deck and the rarity is still blank.

Also the first time I tried to open the second deck I got the following and had to close the application.

Code: Select all

Using r5025 I noticed the missing rarities in the deck table. If you add a card to the deck the rarity is visible. I could not reproduce the error exception.

I guess that there may be some sort of a bug with Choppic's deck editor or my modifications to his version of the deck editor. :(

Cosmetic only - instead of saying "Computer Wins by Coin Toss", should it say "Computer Wins the Coin Toss"?

A little known "Cut Deck" feature exists which is why it says "By" since someone can also Win "By Deck Cutting" if you enable a flag. I believe it doesn't have a UI option so you could only turn it on if you have the code base.

I reverted the deck editor code back to r4852 on my local copy. This is from before Choppic's first mod to the deck editor. In this version there is no filter by name filter or update filter button.

I loaded a deck into this version of the editor and noticed that there is no rarity values in the deck table. Hmmm. So, it was not Choppic's work or my recent work which did this...

I wonder if the work done in reference to set data may have something to do with this, the code which reads in the saved deck file in the deck editor may need to be updated?

The error exception appears to have references to Look and Feel display options and/or LAF fonts. Were you using one of these or were you using the default Look and Feel?

I've noticed rarity not showing up in the deck editor also before Choppic's changes. Never looked into it though. And I don't know exactly when it started.

This has been the case for a while and will be fixed when I overhaul mana abilities.

I have tried several of the display options in the past two days, trying to find one I like. I had problems with Napkin yesterday and today I thought I was back to plain Windows option.
