I'm not sure if we'll be ready to release on Friday with all the different changes coming in, but there may be a strong argument towards bumping to 1.4

Yes. The changes deserve the next version to be called 1.4.

I won't object.
If it is to gain a minor version increase, then more attention should be paid to bugfixes.
There were complaints on gauntlet mode and quest challenges, besides of common reports we have.
We should not delay much with the release, 'cause it's quite annoying to deal with reports of problems that were fixed on the first day after beta was out. I also want to share with users the result of this iteration the soonest possible.

I can change the version number to 1.4 fairly easily.
I can delay the release to Monday June 3 and this will give us an additional weekend to fix a few bugs and to make the project more stable.
Or will we need more time? Should we release on Friday June 7?

Do you know any reason to postpone release behind May, 31?

I can release on May 31 as long as no one has a problem with this.
I can also release the following version (1.4.1?) in just one week if we find that there are important fixes that need to be made.

It looks like the release is shaping up pretty well, not sure if there are any serious showstoppers but it seems like all the major issues with constant threading-related crashes and stuff like that have been taken care of; so, I believe 1.4 on May 31 and then, if necessary, a bugfix release in a week after that sounds fine to me.

I played a handful of games last night, and didn't notice any of the things that were popping up this weekend, which primarily was what had me nervous. I'm ok with the suggested proposal.
