Upcoming Cards and Development Builds
by friarsol » 05 Sep 2016, 02:17
I've been thinking about a way to make upcoming cards more readily available to get the bugs in card scripts ironed out before release time. Currently, we're merging a branch back in the week the edition file comes out.
Basically what I'm thinking is we have a special "upcoming" folder in the cardsfolder that has card scripts that don't yet have a record in an existing edition file. I think probably the easiest way to handle things is to filter out cardfiles that exist in this folder for releases in the mkzip.sh.
(Or maybe do some type of check when loading the cards, and skip the upcoming folder for non-svn/snapshot builds)
I'm not sure how often we even have releases during the time between having upcoming card scripts, but it'd probably just make things easier.
Thoughts?
