[Bug] Clockwork Beetle + Teferi's Veil
by Deadhaw » 24 Feb 2019, 07:22
I just discovered Forge last night. I love it.
Using the latest standard version (1.6.21).
Simple bug. When I attack with Clockwork Beetle, I choose the order of events, Teferi's Veil's phasing before Clockwork Beetle's remove a +1/+1 counter, so that the latter doesn't trigger. This should work the same way as it already does with cards like Fog Elemental (trigger phasing first so that you don't have to sacrifice it). They even have the same phrasing:
When Fog Elemental attacks or blocks, sacrifice it at end of combat.
Whenever Clockwork Beetle attacks or blocks, remove a +1/+1 counter from it at end of combat.
But instead, the Clockwork Beetle just loses a +1/+1 counter after it phases out.
I was going to add images of the cards for reference but apparently that "looks too spammy" for my first post.
