Minigames, like match 3, concentration, slots, roulette, pachinko, etc. They could be full-fledged events. Or part of quest / adventure mode to acquire bonus rewards. Players can turn them off in preferences.
Match 3. Six colors is perfect variance. Match by color identity. Multicolored can improve chances of matches and chains.
Concentration. Win cards that are correctly matched.
Slots. Win cards that are correctly matched.
Roulette. Spin wheel and win cards, packs, or credits.
Pachinko. Win card where the ball lands.
