Charms?

Postby Rob Cashwalker » 25 Nov 2010, 17:20

I noticed Esper Charm and a couple other charms were just added. They don't have RemAIDeck=True, so, the AI won't play them correctly? Or was the AI changed to handle them directly?

The theory had been to make a wrapper script.

I must have just forgot it for Esper Charm. Piracy Charm is exactly the same as Funeral Charm, and uses the same code block. So, that will work as well as Funeral Charm does.

I think that we should convert Funeral Charm over to use the new AF's.

I suspect that Funeral Charm was an early "proof of concept". I think that Rares my have written this card. At a later date I added the then missing Swampwalk ability. I also spent some time trying to improve the AI portion of this spell.

At one point, I had all of the AI code in the first ability since the computer would ignore the code in the last two abilities and only use the code in the first ability. My solution was messy and it did not fit in with Rob's keyword plans.
