i'm presently committing a structural change to res/cardsfolder on the trunk. if you are trying to commit your own changes to one or more files in that folder, you may find yourself unable to do so.

i will post again to this thread once the commit has completed to remind everyone to run an update; although at this rate, that probably won't be for another 8-10 hours.

the change is necessary, because many people were having trouble checking out the cardsfolder due to its enormity. for details, see http://www.slightlymagic.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=4914

Wasn't this the cause of some of the svn script problems too?

I thought that had to do with the removal of a certain file that was used by the svn scripts? But it's possible I misunderstood.

other people reported some problems with checking out the cardsfolder. perhaps not to the extent that i had them especially with regard to the lock files being difficult to clean up.

windows update interrupted my commit while i was asleep. i'm going to try again right now.
