Merciless editing has taken place. Did a big edit with all requested info and more (except for Team Perspective since current experience insufficient to describe). Big changes on the structure of the document, but the content remained unchanged (you'll recognize all of it).
Git-specific content commented at bottom. Followed previous styling. Added: SVN directions, Subclipse directions, user skill level pathways, helpful links, build instructions, quick build directions, portability options, installation testing methods, inter-wiki hyperlinks, etc.
http://www.slightlymagic.net/wiki/Forge:How_to_Get_Started_Developing_ForgePosting the previous document below, for quick revert if needed. Hopefully the new structure allows new users to find what they're looking for quickly, and gives experienced users a framework to add/remove content as needed.
Future goals:
Explore and document testing system for users who want to act as testers. Any suggestions on where to start?
