I have two new snapshot builds using rev 12604. These are at MediaFire again, the next release may be hosted at a web server.

`

One of our devs is temporarily providing a web server to hold the snapshot builds while we wait for cardforge.com to come back online. The above links are for the MediaFire based archives while the links below are based at the web server:

Can you draft again in this build?
User experience, make or break. MtG drafting is fun.

Current snapshot builds should be viewed as unstable. The first step was to update the battlefield window. The second step was to update the new game window and this section still needs a lot of work.

Doublestrike wants to get constructed and quest modes working first and will then try to get the draft and sealed modes working again.

Everything (as in everything everything) should be working around Saturday-ish, probably even ready for a beta release.

I'll do this next after the quest mode work. Should be ready in less than 36 hours.

We have a new snapshot build for people to try. This one is based on SVN rev 12625 and does not include Doublestrike's newest quest mode code. That will be included in the next release. :)

I will provide links to the web server and I did not attempt today to also upload these archives to MediaFire.

Today's snapshot is based on SVN rev 12654. This build should be more functional than yesterday's build.

Cardforge.org may be offline for a week, while the domain is transferred. In the meantime, I may go register a new name.

The server IP is
74.55.207.114

The snapshot folder URL would be
http://74.55.207.114/~cardforg/releases ... rge/forge/

So just modify the FTP server address in the build script.

I can modify the pic download, mantis and draft code to use this raw URL or a new name if I register one.
The Force will be with you, Always.

I do not mind using the current system until carforge.org is back online. I think the user base has found my links OK and are using them for the most part. We have not been swamped with a large number of posts about the lack of snapshot builds so people must be finding them.

Yep, there's been like 800 megs of traffic on the subdomain not including FTP traffic. I think we'll want cardforge.org back online before the next beta, but it works decently enough for now.

Hi Chris,
I upgraded to OSX Lion and have been testing the build process. I have not seen the issue where builds on Lion had strange svn revision numbers. Do you still have this problem?

Snapshots built after cardforge.org went offline have been built using Lion rather than Snow Leopard. Using today's snapshot (based on SVN rev 12688) I selected Utilities -> Report a Bug and get the following. The version number looks OK but the SVN rev is off:
