AI cast
Oblivion Ring on my hound pet token. The next turn I cast
Demystify on the ring and it went to the graveyard, still remembering my pet. The pet did not return to the battlefield. Should it have returned? I haven't opened this in bug tracker yet in case it is not a problem.

It shouldn't return, since it disapppears as soon as it's outside the battlefield, but I'm not sure it should be remembered at all.

Since
Oblivion Ring says "Exiled Card" it probably shouldn't remember tokens to begin with.

I think there may be an issue with oblivion ring. I was messing around yesterday with a deck that used it. I used oblivion ring to remove some creatures the AI had on the board. The AI used ratchet bomb to remove oblivion ring but the creature didn't return to the battlefield. I was going to test it further before I put in a Mantis report.

So if you
Oblivion Ring a token, does the ring stay on the battlefield targeting nothing, or does it go directly to the graveyard?

Why would it goto the graveyard? It ETB, Exiles a token, it wouldn't remember it, and when it leaves the battlefield tries to return anything it remembers (which is nothing).
