Who is Nate?

Postby Max mtg » 17 Mar 2012, 04:47

I see some lines added to each of my files.
Code: Select all
 * Forge: Play Magic: the Gathering.
 * Copyright (C) 2011  Nate
Who the hell is Nate and why is he placing a copyright on my creations?

Isn't that supposed to read Forge Team?

Yes, it should read Forge Team. I have a process that adds missing license headers. I am not sure why it would have added "Nate" but I'll check. I'll fix the files as well.

Fixed. Note that the files in the "arcane" directory still list "Nate" as the author since Nate wrote those. BTW, Nate wrote Nate's Deck Builder and had started a game program as well. Forge snagged some of the code for our purposes.

Good.
I am not sure if there remains any piece of Nate's code in deckbuilder. Because, you know, the deckeditor has changed a lot since last summer.
