As cockatrice.de is down, you can download the Cockatrice sources from https://github.com/Daenyth/Cockatrice
The Documentation contains (will contain) a howto which allows you to build Cockatrice which will keep Cockatrice alive thanks to the open source license - so there is no need to distribute binaries anymore, which might be a bad idea, thanks to Hasbro.

You were always able to have your own server but if you want a public server with stats etc, you can use http://www.woogerworks.com
