No Coin TOss at the start of a duel.

I have followed all the steps for instillation as given by the install guide here: http://salbei.spacequadrat.de/htdocs/magic.html and went in the properties of my shortcut and disabled visual themes. I have also disabled debug in the config.txt. I did the compatability thing with the MS download and the updated database part also.

The game runs fine, at least it does in the solo duels I have tried. Have not tried quest mode yet, but I di not get a coin toss animation (nor the option to call heads or tails). Has this been taken from the game for stability?

In any event... GREAT JOB!!!! to everyone involved in keeping this version of MTG alive, and even adding new cards to it. That is a great accomplishment!!

could you post a ingame screenshot please ? it looks like that you did something wrong with the Duelart folder(cointoss.avi etc is saved in there).

Ok, here is the screenshot.

BTW. I have both cointoss avi's in my duelart folder.

Start a duel -> rightclick -> Duel Options -> Check "Show coin flip animations"

jupp , everything is looking fine.Guess you had turned it off in the options.

Hmmm I will have go check that out.

In config.txt there is an option:

// Start the game without milligans or play/draw decisions
QuickStart:0

If this is set to 1 the game will skip all the pre-match stuff like coin-tosses (and mulligan I believe) and let you start playing at once.

It was a realy wierd thing, but once I removed the folder that conatained the game from all the sub folders, the cointoss animation started working.
