Sad day with the challenges...

So I am still kind of new to this, but I started challenge number 1 and made it most of the way through when suddenly I couldn't cast my cards anymore. It had happened once or twice on the way through but hadn't affected my wins, but in game 9 or so I had 3 cards in my hand, none of which it would let me play. I had the mana available and everything, when I would click on the card to play it the screen would just blink slightly. Also where normally the cards would appear yellow indicating that I could play them, they were white even though I should have been able to play them. Very frustrating considering I was about to win! Any help with this would be appreciated!
