Adding new cards

Postby bloodcurdler » 13 Jan 2010, 10:16

Hi,
I am a new user since manalink.de and I have figured out that lots of stuff has changed.

When I was updating cards at that time sometimes I lost some other cards probably because their creators were different.

Is it still the same?

I will try to make some cards that I like (that most people may not so that they are not added). If I can manage to make those cards will I lose them when I update the cards?

Short answer: yes. Of course if you make changes to a file and then you download another file your changes will be lost. But this is easy to avoid.

If you write cards in C, then code is shared and will not be lost. Just create a new .c file that only you work with. Your csv and exe changes will get lost too, though. To get around this, use My2000 to transfer cards.

To avoid all the hassle, though, just communicate with the other developers (currently just gargaroz, I believe) and release at different times.
