card used in deck check?
by stassy » 21 Jan 2010, 06:47
I am beginning to make a list for card to be replaced and I would like to check in my playdeck folder which deck use it so I can remove/replace it.
Problem is, I have 2k+ deck and the only way so far I found is to make a macro that rename all the .dck file into .txt and search for the card name with the good ol' windows search within the text file (which can only search in a .txt/office named file even if others extensions are just plain text).
Did someone found a better way to do it or can it be implemented into my2000?

There are bulk rename utilities that you could rename the contents of the entire directory. Maybe that would work? I haven't played with my2000 yet.

Yes, there is (you can even use the command prompt to rename a batch file), however as there is already a "checker" in the game that can see what card or number of card is valid or not in a deck (in the original ML or the src code), I just wanted to know if it was possible to tag a card as "unwanted" and perform a check through the whole decklist...
