Possible Problem
by barrenwaste » 03 Apr 2010, 08:37
Hey everybody. I know I'm still new here, but I may have run into a bit of a problem with the game. I'm not a coder, so I cannot check to see if what I am experiencing is a real problem, or only one I imagine. I'm hoping that somebody here has either, had the same problem, or can take a look to see if it is functioning properly.
Here is the problem. I devote twenty or more cards to mana in just about every deck I play. Now, I understand that doesn't mean my starting hand is always going to have 1/3rd mana, or that I'm always going to pull a mana source every third card or so. I know that I can pull no mana for 6 turns and then pull 3 right in a row and still keep the 1/3rd average. The problem I am seeing is that I'm not keeping the 1/3rd average on mana pulls at all. Most of the time I get one of two results. Either, I have almost all mana starting and then pull mostly mana, or I have very litte mana and pull no mana. This is exactly backwards to what should be happening. Most of the time I should be getting a fairly even flow of mana. I know, I have been using this mix for years in tournaments. In fact, it's why I use 20 or more mana sources most of the time.
This has been happening both in Shandalar and in Dueling. If someone could aid me in this, maybe point to a patch already existing, or even confirm that it is an ongoing problem, I would appreciate it.
