Anyone got the online part working?

Can Some Please Please help my brother and i get this working. We are trying to play over the tcp/ip connect type. But i cant seem to find where it says to actually Host a game like you guys described in the directions. Im brand new to the site and game this game to my bro as a present so we could play. We will be ecstatic if we just get working without any newer cards.

Edit : Ok so we got it to where we can now host and join the games but it was giving the "sorry, but i can't create a directplay session on that service provider" error again. But i think i might have found the problem. Bio said that after you host a game the square would say NET. I never saw the square say NET after hosting a game. We would just be in the lobby waiting for the other person to join who would get the error message. I just tried it again and it took about 5 minutes for my computer to actually connect and host the game and bring up the NET square.... We will try and see if maybe we had to wait for the NET sqaure before we tried joining each others game.

Well im trying to play with a friend of mine, but i as i copied my folder to his computer, one of us has to run the magic.reg as was said... but unfortunaly i dont have that archive here, so i was wondering if anyone could upload it, and send me the link... cus we tried to play, but i invite him to a duel, he accepts and when i try to start the duel, there is no registered opponent to play with... so i cant even start the duel!

I added the registry files back to the downloads section. Look for the "Manalink junk" file which contains miscellaneous info I culled from other distributions. Let me know how it works for you, it would be nice to nail down a solid procedure for this online thing.

Hi,

I'm very excited to play this online. I went to the irc channel and meet some guys who successfully played the game online. They tell me to do this and that and every thing was alright until the part where we have to click duel on the main menu. My option still says that I have no registered opponent while in the mean time we are connected through manalink and Hamachi.

I tried turning off my firewall still it didn't work. We tried trying direct link still no good. The problem apparently is in my Hamachi program. They say I have to have a direct tunnel to play with the player. All I have with them is a relayed tunnel. Please help how do I get them to turn green and be on direct tunnel rather than the relayed tunnel which has a cyan circle on the left side of the username.

Is there another program other than HAmachi?
Is there any other IRC channel with more people on it.

I hope I'll get to play online. This game rocks!! it would be a waste if I can't play it online..
