Thanks
Well I remember the post by harry, I think....if we're both talking about the same post. But I didn't want to jump to conclusion.
That would be very handy : Zombie has managed to open the .pic files and will post them tomorow turned into .png. Then i will have all the elements to do everything that is needed.
if Someone can make the game accept my images...... well I will be very happy !

Although Mathy has posted some of this new art, I have had some trouble finding some of the other files that show up as missing when I load ManaLink from past updates. I included a few of the files that Mathy has posted before as I was too lazy to remove them from my rar file!
I just wasn't able to find allot of the files that I have included here anywhere in this forum, so forgive me if I am doubling up on any of this, but it is presented here for those that are missing any of these files.
They are listed below, so if you don't need any of them, you can check the list first and decide if you want to download it:
1699=Careful Consideration
1701=Deranged Hermit
1692=Goblin Warchief
1693=Heart Sliver
1696=Manamorphose
1694=Reflex Sliver
1697=Stitch Together
1695=Synchronous Sliver
1667=Ageless Sentinels
1671=Arc Lightning
1677=Arcbound Ravager
1676=Arcbound Worker
1669=Charging Troll
1686=Chromatic Sphere
1685=Chromatic Star
1682=Darksteel Citadel
1674=Exploration
1690=Fire Imp
1668=Fists of the Anvil
1689=Flametongue Kavu
1665=Frozen Aether
1672=Jhessian Infiltrator
1679=Nantuko husk
1683=Nimble Mongoose
1688=Ogre Arsonist
1670=Ohran Viper
1678=Pattern of Rebirth
1680=Phyrexian Ghoul
1675=Progenitus
1681=Rancor
1664=Somber Hoverguard
1673=Tahngarth, Talruum hero
1666=Thoughtcast
1684=Werebear
1707=Academy Rector
1708=Gamble
1706=Master of Etherium
1705=Necropotence
1702=Sphere of Resistance
1698=Survival of the Fittest
1709=Temple of the False God
1703=Thorn of Amethyst
1704=Yawgmoth's Bargain
* I couldn't find an entry for Goblin Tutor in the SkyMagic Editor so therefore no ID number for the card could be found. I have included the art for it in this file.

Ok, I've been working on the material GMZOmbie gave me access to. I tink wa can now start testing a few things as I have several elements ready.
However I neeed one of the coders to look into the game's code and make it accept the files that I have prepared. i'm making simultaneously png and bmp files. it could be handy to try the png files, the reasons being that it is a newer format, ansd that it supports alpha layers, howeevr I don't know if the game would support an alpha layer rather than the green masks it uses for transparency.
Anyway, once again, I need a coder to do that.
I will relaese a zip file shortly with the images that I've made for testing purpose.
If you guys find the way to change the files these images should be ready for use.
So here is what the game could look like (a quick teaser to motivate the troops)

Mathy...
Freakin' gorgeous!!
It looks absolutely fantastic!
One question, to what image resolution can, lets say, my monitor be set at to maintain the look of this. 1024 x 768, 1280 x 1024 or even higher?
Again, wonderful job Mathy old boy!
Outstanding!

In case this is not already known, I am completely incompetent when it comes to anything other than adding cards.
So I hope someone else with a broader skillset can help you with this.

well yeah I discovered this morning that the game's rez was 1024 x 768 instead of 800 x 600. I will have to test the images on my screen to see how they look on a 19 inch. you see, my sim was made with a screen cap that I did following my previous assumptions. but I will make a new one anyway.But don't worry the different piece of the puzzle are of the correct size now

Gorgeous! Don't forget we can just scan in a new image for the card backs and frames.mathusalem wrote:Ok, I've been working on the material GMZOmbie gave me access to. I tink wa can now start testing a few things as I have several elements ready.

Also, is there a cumulative card art file? One that has ALL of the new art?

i believe if someone can reverse the bmp2pic app to make it use any size file to any size pic file for now would be faster since we do not have a person that can implement these YET...but i know there are some smart as hell coders here now..
i could never do what has already been done.
