I know this has been talked about alot, but I cannot find a solution to my problem... I am trying to install Manalink 3.0 and I put the files in C:Magic/Program, but when I try to open anything, it gives me error 0xc0000142, and cannot open... I cannot find a solution online, or corrupted file, anyone else with this issue?

" C:Magic/Program "
I assume you downloaded the Manalink 3.0 from CirothUngol ?
Have you double clicked on " Install_Me_First!.cmd " that should be located then in your C:\Magic\ before trying to launch any of the program located in your C:\Magic\Program\ ?
This step is necessary apparently to extract some of the files correctly.
If you skipped that , maybe it could explain that trying to launch any of the executable from C:\Magic\Program\ is leading into error

I do not have a file with that name, maybe I would have to do this differently, I already had DotP on my system from... years and years ago, and still was using manalink 1.3 I think it was, I assumed I could, and what I did was, download manalink 3.0, from this forum page
viewtopic.php?f=85&t=6284 and I extracted the files to my Magic/Program folder, this is obviously incorrect, or I just missed a step?

Try to download a more recent version of Manalink 3.0 from this thread (they're standalone, don't extract them over an existing install, in case it create some incompatibily) :
viewtopic.php?f=55&t=6401I have played with both the "Korath archive updated up to Theros November 2013" and the "CirothUngol ML3 version" before updating them with the latest official january patch from that thread :
viewtopic.php?f=85&t=13188(there isn't yet a standalone of Manalink up to that latest patch so you'll need a recent standalone ML3 from the previous link before updating)
The "Korath archive updated up to Theros November 2013" works directly from extraction when using the Magic.exe , but will have missing tooltips from the deckbuilder (though not a big problem if you know what the icons are for)
The "CirothUngol ML3 version", after extraction will require you to double click on the "" to complete the extraction of some files, and then you'll have to use the Magic.exe located in the "Program" subfolder.

I added the missing archive next to Korath archive in the Download thread, thanks for the reminder

Ok, well I will install the ones you recommended, so when I download them, just delete the program folder and use the files here instead, or what? sorry.

Ok, so I think this is the right track, I downloaded pierre.gonnetan.free.fr/, and it works as a standalone, there is just NO card art... at all?

Try to reboot your computer, i remember after moving around tons of those cards files for a while, changing the manalink directory name and moving it elsewhere, i had the same problem with oddly no card art being displayed ingame.
Simply rebooting fixed the problem.

Ok, so rebooting did help some, it put the writing on most of my cards, but the card art is still blotched on most of the cards, some are right, most are wrong... I guess its not a huge deal, just very annoying

Have you patched to
the latest version after installing the Manalink3 you used ?
If you didn't, to do so :
- In your Manalink directory delete the folder named "CardArtManalink"
- Download the file :
2012_CardArtManalink.zipExtract it, and move the folder named "CardArtManalink" that will be extracted into the Manalink directory that contained the original "CardArtManalink" you previously deleted
- Download the file :
2012_2013_CardArtUpdates.zipExtract it and move all the picture files (not the "Card Art Update" folder, but all the actual pictures file it contains) into the CardArtManalink folder
- Download the file :
CardArtManalink_Jan2014.zip(edited with the newest version from Sonic including the hq Commander artwork)
Same as before, extract all the pictures files and move them into the CardArtManalink folder
- Now the patch itself :
01062014_v2.rarExtract and move the file into your Manalink directory, overwriting files of the same name.
- Download
Text.res.zipTake the file named Text.res contained in that zip archive and move it into your Manalink directory, replacing the file of the same name.
That should be all, your Manalink should have the latest cards, the latest card arts and the patch with all the bug fixes and improvements (one of them may fix the bugged visual you mention on some cards, as i don't see such thing on my Manalink).
Reboot your computer too

Assuming you didn't forgot a step, i think you have extracted some files on the wrong place, but obviously it's hard for me to tell from where i am.
So here's a screenshot of my manalink main directory , compare it with your own manalink directory if you can spot some difference :

And inside the folder named " CardArtManalink " make sure there are -only- image file, no sub folder in there.

Well here is mine, but i Never extracted anythiung to the main directory, all I ever did was do the first zip file, like it said, then the instructions you posted. When the standalone file unzipped itself, it posted there... I will see if I cant find a fast way to go through all the files, I just wouldnt know where to put them, I may just have to uninstall it and redo it and see if that helps
