How do you add new pics?

Hello, I had a doubt I think you'll be able to help me with.

How do you add new variant pictures to a card?

I thought It'd be easy as adding A,B,etc. to filenames and went on updating arts, but they dont show at all, so I guess it's a process a bit more complicated than adding pics to the folder.

How do you do it? :?:

k, i´ve just tried it.here is a step by step explaination:

1: check for a pic you wanna change: ->ajani vengeant
2: get the pic : random shop - pasted the pic of the full card and edited it with paint so just the artwork is visible.
3:open manalink.csv with notepat, search for "vengeant" and got the ID 822
4:saved the pic as "0822.jpg"
5:copied the pic into magic/cardartnew
6:checked it within the deckbuilder

if you wanna add an additional artwork:
1:open manalink.csv
2:search for the card you want to change
3:set "num art" to the desired number and save the change.
4:save your pic as "0822a.jpg"

i´ve just uploaded the new pics for "baneslayer angel,elspeth and ajani vengeant". the quality is worse compared to mathusalems work ,but should do the job till he is back.

Sorry for the double post but I had to bump this cause it seems the solution you gave me didnt do anything, I have various possible causes, first, I dint find "num art" were you talking about "pic number" or am I lost?
If I'm lost could you give me a bit more insight as to where this "num art" is?

Also, I have four different manalink.csv doccuments, is that ok? Should I change all four when I change it?

And one last thing, is there a way to modify a card's text (Making Nantuko Husk into Vampire Aristocrat for example) without coding a different card?

my bad, was messing around with the cards myself and got the same issue.

easiest would be to get the skymagic editor to do the editing task within the manalink.csv (direct in your magic folder).after you are through with the changes and saved your work just run "csv2dat.exe" to apply the changes to your game.

unfortunatly i´m not sure which files the editor needs (i´ve just dumped it into my magic folder a long time ago and just re-discovered it recently).would up it , but can´t guarantee you a working version.gimme a few mins.

the "num art" column should be within the "manalink.csv" .around the 17th column.
