Multiplayer Issue

Postby 757 » 13 Aug 2016, 07:23

Game between my friend and I gets past the coin flip and friend has no cards. We both have the option to play first
And the game ends because he is out of cards...

Is manalink not ready for multiplayer online function ?

Thanks
Jason

Manalink has lots of problems that make it almost impossible for multiplayer with very, very often crashes. However the problem you are having seems a problem with config.txt configurations everything there except rules engine should be 0.More info you can see in: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=7002&start=15

Ok will check that out. Also Wana say thanks to all the people making this game a possibility because mtgo is just awful and clunky to use and love the way this game plays. Keep doing what you do

Thanks

For the most part if you disable rules engine though you wont be able to use alot of cards. Multiplayer has been broken for a LONG time. over 3 years i would say maybe even longer. The AI in manalink in my opinion is pretty good comparing to other games like Xmage and Forge. Xmage is mostly a multiplayer program and works really well. Forge is a cool program in its own rights as it is also able to be played on android platforms so your phones can play it as well as your tablets. Forges AI is pretty good as well though.
can I maze of ith your snowstorm?
