Sorry guys, I admit I just a noob, but I simply love playing Magic cards and I had played version 1.3.2 since it had introduced until this very day, that I found this website !
I had follow through the guide and installed MOK'S MANALINK 2.0 VERSION (a & b). WOW, great improved from 1.3!

I had a couple of questions.
How am I going to install more updated version of the game?
What should I do the next step to install more cards?
and where can I activate the "Switcher.exe", I can't find it anywhere else in the directory.

I'd recommend waiting until tomorrow, since there is a new version coming that gets rid of switcher.

Well, if it's going to significantly change the installation procedure, please include any pertinent info so Salbei can update the FAQ. If not, then after this newer version is released, folks can still follow the FAQ as it stands now.

Salbei is inactive. That's why the wiki should be the ultimate source of info. I keep that up to date, and I don't go inactive

Well whoever is doing the work should make sure it is updated in the FAQ if the install procedure is changed in any significant way because I did a test install using his FAQ to the letter and it worked fine.

New users tend to go for the FAQ over the wiki so I want to make sure that it is kept up to date, no matter who is doing it.
Again, after the holiday, I won't be around much, so I hope that the FAQ will continue to be updated with the latest info.

For now, it is still, IMHO and others, the easiest way for the new player to follow along to get everything they need installed correctly.

Let's see if any changes need to be made after your new version comes out.

I had follow through the guide from Salbei, and tried installing the game afew time. But I still having the black screen when I launched Magic.exe, and the I saw switcher load a couple of files but its seem like not working. Had I missed some steps or ways to launch it in a proper way?

weird, just now I managed to launch the game and it functioned properly for the first time, but after I exited, it became black screen again.

let me know if i need to change anything . usually still checking the forum here and there. the general information in the FAQ should be fine though.
(removed most outdated links from the FAQ and refered to the WIKI - hope thats enough)
