Collectible Card Game Headquarters

Hi all, first post on this forum.

I downloaded MTG and the manalink 201 update, and i have a problem with certain cards. Hope this hasn't been discussed before, at least i didn't see anything relating to this.

Any cards that have an ability that can be used during upkeep won't work, like Land Tax or Mirror Universe for example. The game just simply skips upkeep if there aren't any compulsory stuff going on, like life loss for Juzam Djinn. Stasis also works. Is there any way to fix this? Dunno if this has been fixed in the newest manalink update, seemed like a very confusing pack so i decided to get used to the game properly before doing any big changes...

And another thing, is there a way to use instants or card abilities during opponents main phase before combat, if opponent doesn't use anything then? Makes attack prevention by Icy Manipulator completely useless, as you can't in main phase and during attack it's already too late :/

If I remember correctly, you right-click the phase icon. Then you can set the game to run to that phase, or to make it always stop at that phase and give you chance to do something.
