OBSOLETE Full manalink3.0 installation for NEW USERS

FWIW, I rolled back every update for which doing so was possible, and continued to have the same issue with Manalink. I had to do a system restore to get the program to work. It seems to be something in the v.1709 feature update that is the problem - probably something with Windows Defender ATP, Windows Defender Application Guard, Window Defender Exploit Guard, Windows Defender Device Guard, Windows Information Protection, or some combination. I have no idea what exactly any of these are or how they work.

I managed to find 2 pc with windows 10 and I tested this installation.I didn't make any changes to windows or to antivirus.
1- With Windows 10 64bit home edition it loads magic.exe and program seems to work fine (limited testing-played 2 full matches in single duel and only started a game in gauntlet and sealed) gives you an "Microsoft visual C++ runtime library" runtime error "not enough space for thread data" only when closing the program.
2- With Windows 10 64bit pro edition it doesn't load magic.exe the same problem most people have complained about.

I'm using Windows 10 home edition. Can't get it to work no matter what I try. I've tried whitelisting, all the compatability modes, and other suggestions I've found in a few threads. I click magic.exe and it just spins for a few seconds, then nothing. Ugh.
FWIW I have 2 laptops with Windows 10 and it's the same story on both. Won't work on either one.

Hi, Tstone,
The security updates in recent Win10 updates have not allowed Manalink to run, even if you bypass every one of the data execution prevention measures. For now the best way I've found to run ML on a Win10 machine is through an emulator. VMWare Player is a free solution; all you will need is an image of an earlier version of Windows. Feel free to PM me if you need further assistance.

Long time user, first time poster.
The windows 10 launch error has crippled me playing this game for the last year or two (sad face). Out of goddam nowhere this fresh install file has suddenly started launching via the magic.exe!
Any reason for this? I'm guessing windows has changed something?

Part from a minor few bugs in the program itself (some item text not displaying correctly)its working perfectly on windows 10. Nothing special done just installed it as normal. Guess windows has changed somehow.

Can you put the archive on file hosting? For example DropMeFiles or Filecloud

I got this file of Manalink 3.0 to work on an emulated windows xp sp3 on windows 10 os using virtualbox. Long time lurker. I really wanted to play this game.

Hey guys - FYI - Windows 10 Pro finally works when you apply the update in the first post!

There is a new test build in updates forum that can be applied over this full installation and includes also the removed patches plus Commander 2016 and Kaladesh, read carefully the post:
