Windows 7 user here. I can get exactly one sealed deck game to go through each time, but when I win or lose then I immediately get the "Manalink 2.00 Alpha" error and it kills it. I've installed everything from the Wiki downloads page (The game, the rules engine, the new card art, and the non-card art), I tried using the Application Compatibility Tooklit fix for Shandalar, but I still cannot play more than one game of sealed deck with MagicLimited.exe.
Now, I can play sealed deck tournament just fine with the old cards using MoK's original installed on a different drive(with some weird quirks...I set up a sealed deck of Revised/2 packs of The Dark and the AI was playing 8th edition stuff). I've also received a few other minor errors as one would expect, but the Manalink 2.00 Alpha one happens every time I finish a sealed deck duel. I'd love to know what tweaking I need to do.

No, it is a separate program from Microsoft. It creates a virtual machine (in the case he describes it is an install of XP that you can access without restarting your computer. It seems like overkill to me since the only issue is being able to play sealed deck with all the cards in MagicLimited (especially since Vanilla MoK works just fine). I was hoping for a simpler fix.

In my case, using Virtual PC is the only way I can play without crashes after every match, in whatever mode I play.
If you can't program, which is my case, Virtual PC seems to be the best option.
It is true that installing Virtual PC ( and the XP Mode or whatever windows you like )is not a simple fix, but it is faster than waiting to come across a fix.
Besides, Virtual PC is useful for any old cool software you could't use because it was not Vista/Windows 7 compatible.
It is easy to install and it's free. Just give it a try and ask if you have any doubts!
You can easily download Virtual PC and XP Mode from www.microsoft.com

I've got the same thing. Closes after any game at all. I checked with Microsoft, but Virtual PC is not available for my version (Home Premium). It must be Professional. Unless I am misreading their info.

How did you install it ? Did you do it directly to the Virtual PC OS or you just shared the magic folder? I installed directly to my Virtual windows XP and everything is fine. If you installed it directly to the virtual machine, then a missing/wrongly exctracted file may be the reason.sopcich04 wrote:works like a charm, only problem i have is that damn coin toss wont play, worked well for win7, am i missing a file?
