First attempt at some Custom Sounds.

Installation:
1:Rename your "DuelSounds" folder (c:\magic\DuelSounds to c:\magic\DuelSounds Backup) to backup your old sounds
2:Download DuelSounds.rar (~9MB)
3:After unzipping the .RAR archive move the folder "DuelSounds" to your gamefolder (c:\magic\DuelSounds)
(the soundfiles should be in there now -> c:\magic\DuelSounds\attack2.wav)
4:turn down your boxes and enjoy the game

Let me know if you dislike any sounds and want them to be replaced.
I´d also like to know if the sound volume is alright for you - and if not should i increase or decrease the volume ?

This pack has a "tribal" feeling that is nice for a change, though some effect are a bit too "soft" imo (though it's just me but the roar when you damage an opponement might not be appropriate if your creature are not lions ;) ).
The sound volume is ok but the deck edit which seems a bit high.
Btw is it possible to add new sound to specific cards? Seems to be some have special sound (Arabian night cards like Bazaar...), Kalastria Highborn has also a special attack sound when ability is triggered that I ever heard of.

i´ve lowered the sound volume quite a bit on purpose. it´s always been annoying if you play music in the background and the gamesounds are louder than the music - so i slightly lowered the volume of the sounds(-10db).

afaik the "special card sounds" are hardcoded -> Astral Cards (Aswan Jaguar etc.)
without help of a coder there is nothing we could do.

let me check a couple alternate sounds for attacking ... but the possibilities are very limited. First version had a "sword sound" for example, but that seemed inapropiate for most creatures. No clue what sound could be used for all sorts of creatures - the rawr was the best i could come up with so far.
Maybe you got an idea.

i also had a lot of nice "whispering" for summoning - like 12 different versions of gibberish - but that seemed to have been too annoying when you hear it like 5 times/turn - so i went for something "calmer".

hmm i haven´t changed the deckedit sounds on purpose. the coders must have been lazy and used the same sounds there. i´ve tested this quite excessive - my deckeditor got all sounds muted though so no wonder i didn´t hear a difference ^^

thanks for the input.
