Is it possible with the Custom Installer 2010 to...

...play a sealed deck tourney against the AI WITHOUT the new cards?

Started a sealed deck tourney, one starter of Unlimited and three boosters, and saw the new cards sprinkled throughout.

Is there any way to play the game, either Sealed Deck or Shandalar, WITHOUT the new cards? Thanks.

I don't think there are any new cards in Shandalar. If you want to play the game with only the cards released before Mok added his changes, you'll have to install a stock version.

*Crying*

That sucks. I appreciate all the hard work that must have gone into this...just would have been nice to have at least the option to not install the new cards for sealed deck.

There is a way to make a custom set, and if you do make a stock set please let me know, it would be nice to have.

Here is the thread about using the Custom Editor:

If you want to have Sealed deck play as it originally was, the best way is to install the old version that Huggy mentions.

But if I do that I have to go through all the hoops and it STILL won't run properly on Win 7 *sob*

Sure wish I could have the fixes and stuff and just have the OPTION to install the new cards or not.

Use the "limited" version. That version has the original sets untouched. No work necessary.

I wasn't sure if the limited version contained only the original cards, or if it contained cards from the post Mok era as well, so I didn't recommend that as an option.

Thanks for clarifying this jatil! :)

The version contains new cards too, but for limited purposes, everything is in its appropriate set.

How do I install and/or access this "limited" version?

Can't see any option to do it in the program or install.
