I am running Windows XP SP3 on drive C: and Windows 7 32-bit on drive I:. Regardless of which installation of Windows I attempt to run Setup.exe from, it crashes instantly. Windows 7 provides the following error information:

Problem signature:

This happens with a clean boot in both installations of Windows. I'm looking for some suggestions on how to fix this. Alternately, I still have the original disk for MTG DotP. Is there a way to take an installation from the original Microprose release disk and update it to what gets installed by this ISO? I can install from the original disk without issue, but run into crashes and missing artwork & text when running that install.

Of course, after I post this thread, I find the link to the Installation help on the Wiki so that I can update the original game install to the Manalink (http://www.slightlymagic.net/wiki/Installation). Unfortunately, the deck editor crashes now.

You know, none of this would be an issue if WotC would just get off their butts and remake this damn game already. And no, their recent release of "Duels of the Planeswalkers" doesn't count. I want Shandalar and the Deck Builder, dangit.

If you launch the deck editor from within Magic.exe it will work fine.
