Application Toolkit Problems...

Postby Hades » 13 Jun 2010, 11:27

Hi

When I try to open the MtG_-_DotP.sdb with the Application Toolkit 5.6, the Compatibility Administrator gives me the following error message on both my Win7 x64 Desktop and my WinXP Laptop:

"This version of the Compatibility Administrator only supports opening 32-bit compatibility (.sdb) Databases. Please use the Compatibility Administrator (64-bit) tool to open 64-bit compatibility databases."

If I use the x64 Compatibility Administrator, the same problem occurs:

"This version of the Compatibility Administrator only supports opening 64-bit compatibility (.sdb) Databases. Please use the Compatibility Administrator (32-bit) tool to open 32-bit compatibility databases."

So it neither recognizes the database as 32-bit nor as 64-bit.
Can anyone give instructions on how to fix this, or tell me what I have to do to apply the changes manually without the use of the database? :(

Hi

I just had the same problem with Application Compatibility Toolkit 5.6
You have to use the old version (5.5)

Microsoft no longer provide download for the old version so I found it on another site

Hope it helps
