Netbook issues My2000 's window too large for the screen
by Pandapanda » 04 Aug 2010, 10:37
Hi,
I use Manalink on a netbook with a 10'wide screen. It works perfectly but I can't use My2000: the window is too large and I can't get the button (copy and paste).
Reducing the window is impossible with a screen resolution already on its maximum and I can't really move the window up.
What should I do if I want to use the custom deck on a netbook?
Thank you.
PS:
Sorry for my poor english.
Thank you very much Jatill and the others for the job you've done.

Indeed, the problem is that the window is resizable but there is no horizontal nor vertical side lift...

Hi,
Thank you Stassy for the answer.
Maybe when the next deck editor update will be release - and if you guys have time - could you try to fix this window issue. I know it's not an important problem but the netbook market is expanding and I mainly play the game when travelling and I believe some people are doing as me.
Thank again for the great job !!!

Do you think that any netbook with a Windows-based OS can run the game? I would like to get a Netbook, but I really like this game and don't want to lose it.

Sorry if it's too late (joined the forums today), but I have a netbook, played the game A LOT on it and it was all fine. My netbook has a button that allows to change resolutions, and one of those resolutions are 1024x768 COMPRESSED. what it does is that it squeezes those 768 pixels into the 600 it normally has. (if I simply change to 1024x768, it works too, but I only have to scroll the screen down by carrying the mouse cursor over the bottom of the screen with the upside that it wont distort the image, but I prefer compressed anyway specially for in-game its not that distorted anyways).
Even if your particular netbook doesnt have such a hotkey, it probably has similar configurations on the display settings of windows.
Cheers,
Ghost

Got no clue what OS is usually used on netbooks. At Windows7 you can select to run a program as 640x480 (compatibility settings).
I can imagine google should give you some results depending on your OS. I´ve searched for "Netbook +resize" and got plenty of hits that seemed to be relevant.Might want to add your OS to that and you should get a tutorial.

Retired a long time ago. I will not reply.
