How to add new cards, only want to play Duell-Mode

Hi!

First of all : THANKS for your great work! =D>

A Friend of mine and I used to play MTG years ago and now want to restart, but since he sold all his cards, only online. So I found your great Custom 2010 ISO, and after some trouble with hamachi it finally works (besides a few crashes).

Now the Question : is it possible, to add/create several cards we are missing? And of course : how does it work? We only want to play the Duell-Mode, no Shandalar at all. I have already checked the forum, but didn't found an exact answer :oops:

Would be nice if you could help me. If there should be an answer in the forum I missed, feel free to just send me a link.

Would be best if you create a different Magic folder for this.So you can use the ISO for Multiplayer and the new one for Singleplayer.

I recently uploaded my Game folder (including the latest patched version ->Feb 08).
It is just missing the Artwork in there.
That should be perfect for you.
Getting the missing Artwork however may take a while.
So unless you know where to get / how to add the Artwork
i would suggest to use the method mentioned at the WIKI link above.
There is currently NO complete Artwork folder available (last one i found got posted in December. The link for that is dead now so PLEASE DON`T DOWNLOAD THIS UNLESS YOU KNOW HOW TO ADD THE MISSING ARTWORK).

Wow, thanks for your quick and good answer. :-)

I just tried both ways. The first one seems to be ok, at least some more cards to play.
The second one seems to offer really many cards, but of course it would be nice to have the artwork for the cards. Has anyone an idea, how to get it and how to integrate those pictures?

And there still cards which I#m really missing :-(

E.g. it would be great to have the gargantuan gorilla, or a snake basket and so on...

And, by the way, it seems, that some cardarts in the custom iso are wrong, e.g. aladin ring's or so...any ideas on that?

My webspace is full at the moment, otherwise i could upload the incomplete folders (just 4-5 pics missing for alternate versions).
There are also some copyright issues for uploading the artwork on a OCH over here in Germany, so i really can´t provide the 2 missing Artwork Folders.

I can only suggest to browse the Manalik forum and update the Artwork piece by piece (start with the old topics and do the newer ones after that.So changed cards won´t get the Artwork for their old versions.)
There is currently no complete Archive available, so either "hunt" them down manually or just wait for someone to upload that.Might take a while though.

I can´t provide any support for the ISO file. Check the Shandalar Subforum for that.It is "their" turf.

After a few PMs we got everything to work.
He was using my Magic folder and added the Artwork manually.

Would be great if someone could upload a complete Artwork folder. Really can´t have it easier than that for new players.During the next couple days i will try to track the missing pictures and upload the 2 needed folders , so please be patient.
