Problems with getting challenge mode to start
by dereksg » 23 Feb 2011, 18:12
Firstly, Im using the "Micropose Magic the Gathering 2010 Custom Installer ISO" version found in torrent websites (I found that before I found this website), so I'm not really sure if its the same version.
If its the same version, I do not see the "challenge" checkbox when i select gaunlet. Am I doing something wrong or do I have the wrong version installed?

You are using the Shandalar proof version.
To access the challenge mode, either install the game following the wiki :
http://www.slightlymagic.net/wiki/Installation
Or use the Salbei SCV version (click and play version) :

This is most likely related to a "wrong" installation.
The ManaLink 2.0 forum supports 2 installation routes - WIKI or SCV.
The patches posted here WILL NOT WORK for other versions unless you install compatibility things that should not be needed in the first place.
If you are using a "random" torrent Version or the CUSTOM ISO please report your issues where you downloaded the files from, we don´t know what is in there - its is not our "job" to know.

Retired a long time ago. I will not reply.
