ManalinkEx.dll

I can run the MagicLimited.exe fine, but the game crashes upon startup when I try to run Magic.exe (Note, there have been rare occasions when it managed to startup, just only to crash a bit later.)
Viewed problem details and it told me the file ManalinkEx.dll was causing the problems. Any ideas?

Moved to Installation and Troubleshooting
THE SHANDALAR CUSTOM ISO or RANDOM TORRENT VERSIONS will mess everything up for you, so if you have been using those please try the "normal" installation route (links below).
Sounds like you are missing some updated files.
This just should not happen with the "normal" installation route.
Try to install either the Wiki or SCV route and it should work.
If you are already using either version then please let me know what OS (Windows Vista , 98 etc) you are using.
It is almost impossible to get the game to work with Windows Vista for example.Going to crash constantly.

I´m not familiar with Vista. You could try things that worked for different OS.
Disable Visual Themes, and try to "toy" around with Compatibility settings.
Sorry, but i really can´t help you further.

I tried many stuff, finally got it to work with an unlogical solution
Usually I get the "fatal error" stuff right on start when I try to start the game, so by accident and perhaps frustration, i trying clicking on the exe file repeatedly and somehow one of those tries will start up the game perfectly. So now whenever i start the game, all i have to do it spam the exe file till it starts up.
Game is fine and I'm enjoying it , I have noticed there are certain cards which crashes/lags the game. The 2/2 white creature which removes artifacts crashes the game for me everytime, and priest of titania severly lags the game. Hope the spamming solution helps for people who run Vista
