Any Lowere Sounds for Manalink SCV? Sounds are to loud
by sandman423 » 02 Mar 2011, 23:00
I am looking for lower sounds and how to install them because when I click on stuff or when I cast spells it is so loud...I like listening to music while I play but the sounds are very distracting.
I want sounds just at a lower volume...We need a Volume control for this game.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sure! Orion79 posted a DuelSounds set that had it's volume reduced by 50%... I think they're the same ones found in the CCGHQ Custom ISO torrent. You can grab them from HERE.
Also, you could use a batch file to move and replace the sound files automatically. You can grab a DuelSounds Toggler HERE... just make sure the file extension is ".cmd" and not ".txt" (some browsers do that) then drop it into your MtG Install folder; double-click and it turns sounds off, double-click again and it turns sounds back on... simple. ^_^

Oops i forgot about that. I remember that i already reduced the volume of those sounds (about a year back i think).
I did not look into it after i upgraded my OS to Win 7 (you got a mixer in there and can adjust sounds of different programs, very convenient).
If anyone else got problems with those sounds (too loud) please let me know and i´ll try to reduce the volume even further.
Added this to the SCV topic. Hope you don´t mind.
Going to move this to "Installation + Troubleshooting" soon.

@CirothUngol
The Sounds from the ISO torrent are the older sounds and plus they're still loud. I did a comparison and it sounded like there was only a reduction of 10%.
@Salbei
Try reducing it by 70% and see.
