Collectible Card Game Headquarters

sooo after many hours of trial and searching the forum i decided to take my chances and ask for help with getting the custom set editor to work. i have followed the wiki's instructions to a t multiple times, all to no avail. magiccustom.exe will not open and the switcher does not work. when i open the editor, i can only see the top half of the screen, so i cant read anything thats on the cards, and when u choose the include/exclude option, i can only see the top right corner of the screen its really wierd. also it doesnt work after i make a deck, it kept replacing the card with the card after in my deck it was really strange. for example, goblin piledriver was replaced with goblin king, goblin king was replaced with.... etc etc. soooo any imput would be awesome, i really would love to play using the 2800 available cards.

come on guys, lil help here plz....

Not that I can help, but at least you know someone's paying attention...

MagicCustom doesn't want to work for me either, but Magic Limited works just about perfectly. First, Custom doesn't want to include the card artwork. Second, it's sometimes done the same thing it's doing for you. I've got Vista myself.

However, give me a second and I'll find the link to the Microsoft Compatibility Tool 5.5 and instructions and post them. BRb

Can´t write more than in the other 450 topics related to the custom version - either it works fine or you should abandon it altogether.

Personally i had nothing but problems with the custom version and can only suggest to NOT use it.

What can I say but...amen.

Perhaps when I'm more used to the program I'll try and get Custom running, but I'm happy for now using Limited.

that really sucks though, as a result im missing out on a thousand other cards.... grrr....

You just can't play with some cards at the same time and combine them.It's not only LIMITED you say you play but CONSTRUCTED which has all the newer cards coded plus the best from LIMITED.And the GOLDEN YEARS MOD with cards from that era plus a lot from LIMITED.

Of course if you can help the guys who try to break this 2000 card limit then we could all have all the cards in one, and less problems that are caused by having to replace cards.....
