no, all your data remains intact. only check your hard drive and if has a bad sector or damaged. what it does, avoid the bad sector for future storage (because if you save files on damaged sectors, everything will be corrupted)
so if you find bad sectors means your hdd has some type of damage

A few tricks you might want to try.

1. Disable Visual Themes
Right click on the Magic.exe and go to the 'Properties' menu. Click on the 'Compatibility' tab and tick the 'Disable Visual Themes' box.

2. Add the Magic.exe to the DEP list.
Go to 'My computer', right click on it and select 'Properties'.
In the 'System Properties' menu select the 'Advanced' tab and then click the 'Performance' settings button.
Select the 'Data Prevention Execution' tab and click on the 'Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select' option.
Then click 'Add...', search for your Magic install folder and add the Magic.exe to the DEP list.

3. Add the Magic.exe to your virus scanners 'Exception' list.
The settings depends on which virus checker you're using.

I scaned with HDD regenerator and found no problem, I disabled visual themes and a deactivated the antivirus, and nothing...
About the DEP list, only i can add some extracted files, for example, i cannot add the Install_me_first!, so it useless.
Is it normal that in the folder of extracted program some files are not extracted?
because that is what i see there...

Try downloading this self-extracting version of Korath's Portals to Theros distribution I uploaded for you.
Just run the exe, choose a destination folder for the files and run the InstallMeFirst.cmd after extraction.

To update your game to the latest version, go here and follow the instructions posted in that thread.

Make sure to pay attention to the instructions by Sonic regarding the updated artwork folders, because otherwise the game won't work as intended.

My game works with your download, not with the kamaleon merge. Now just i have to copy the patch archives in the main folder, no?

Yeah, you need to extract the latest patch (Journey into Nyx) to your main folder.

However, the version I uploaded for you is from November 2013 and the CardArtManalink folder was updated in 2014. That's why Sonic added the following instructions:

If you are downloading Manalink 3.0 for the first time, or your currently installed ‘CardArtManalink’ folder is older than the January 2014 release, please download and install the folder and files in the following archives:

Delete your currently installed ‘CardArtManalink’ folder and replace it with the folder in the 2012_CardArtManalink archive. Then copy the artwork from the 2012_2013_CardArtUpdates, January, February, April, and May archives into the newly installed ‘CardArtManalink’ folder.

and the last version that i upload it doesnt have "install me first!"

That's why I asked Javatar to provide the archive's filename. It would have been much easier to post a link to a more recent distribution.

Also, your archive would have been more convenient since it's up to date, but it also contains graphic mods. I just provided the latest vanilla distribution I know of so the user can decide whether they want to use mods like that.

Downloaded this and it works fine, but the card text kinda goes off the card itself. Like, the words are too long for the size of the card, making it impossible to read what the card does. And also, some cards aren't showing up in the deck builder, like Doom Blade.

For the card text right click on the card and then you can select expand text box so can see all the text of the card.For the deck editor you must have disabled a button=filter that's why you don't see some cards.

Hi,
after long time of absence wanted to play again. Downloded ozks archive

Extractet all files to c:\Manalink 3_0
Startet ..\program\magic.exe
Startet Solo Duel with Deck : A royal pain (against several opponents)
Whenever i get Winter Blast, i can't select the last target (e.g. if i spent enough mana for 3 targets, a can selcet only the first two targets). I also can't cancel the action at all (and get possibly a mana burn), i am complety locked then and can only concede.

Could it be a bug or am i doing something wrong?
