grey pictures bad artwork (makingprogresses)

Hi.
After hours of trying and dying, i somehow got the game started, BUT...

the only thing that's not working is the artwork.
In the Deck Editor the AE is a question mark, some really few cards have missing(grey) artwork in the deck editor

and in Shandalar the artwork of the cards is completely missing instead they are just grey
like a few cards in the deck editor. Everything else is ok. The Mana Symbols other symbols and the text.

ihave no manalink interface.( the picture with the woman f.e.)
the only way to start the game is the magictg exe button. but its ok like this i think.
The Deck Editor is working too. I turned off the firewall and installed the visualc++ red. thing and everything else.

I think there is not missing much, but what could it be ?!
My OS is XP.

Maybe its important to know. I wasn't really sure what to do with the program folder.
Do I have to paste him directly into the main folder of MagicTG ( what would be logical somehow).. Because now I have an additional program folder in my main folder with a lot of files from the original main folder in it. Is that the mistake ?
The CardArtManalink folder is in the program folder and not in the main folder.

ok. That wasn't the solution. After I copied all the material from the program folder into my main folder the card artwork problem was gone( the artwork improved), but the text and the symbols were gone, too.
I could see the picture artwork instead of a grey nothingness.
And also the start new game or load game text from the beginning was gone.
no text at all in the whole game after that.
and when i visited a city everything got totally messed up.
so i deleted the game again. any idea ? i think i will install it to the point, when I could see the text and symbols but no pictures.
Still need some help with this problem.

Do I have to install the m13 v3 mod into the program folder or into my main folder ?
The same question for the 2000 no more beta mod ..

This time i installed all mods into the program folder ( which is in my main folder)which was included in the manalink 3.0 mod.

No errors no problems, but. I don't have as many cards as I had before in the deck editor.
No Avatars and a lot of cards are missing. It seems like the manalink 3.0 cardfolder isn't completety accepted or cannot be recognized by the program.

I tried to paste this MagicCDII-CardArtLib-20120102 mod into my main folder after that
and the artwork was grey again .
Before i pasted the Limb folder into my program folder, and not into the main folder,
that worked,but the amount of cards were not that satisfying. So far so good.
Does that help ?

I didn't double click any of the manalink 3.0 artmod buttons. is that important ?
but the install first me button after i installed all the cardartmanalink
and shandalar folders.
Do I need a CardArtNew folder anymore ??
Any idea what to do or which action, method or way is leading to a success ?

ok. now i have only one main folder. no single program folder anymore. guess that was bs anyway.
I installed all the mods and the latest cardartlib update into my main folder.
Shandalar is now running perfectly.
But the Deck Editor doesn't work like it should.
I can start the deck editor but there are a lot of grey artworks
and some * symbols in some textlines of the creature names.
The last update i installed was the 2000 no more beta mod. that was better than anything else before.
I installed the latest cardartlib mod at the end before and i got that
-Couldn't find cards.dat- error code.
I couldn't even start the game.
But now the game is running but the deck editor shows a lot of grey artwork.

The CardArtManalink and CardArtShandalar folder are both now in the bin folder,
which was included in the cardartlib mod.
They are not in my main folder anymore, but it seems to work.
For Shandalar but not for my DeckEditor.
Try to play a single match and a tournament match. Doesn't work either.
the manalink internet gameplay seems to work correctly.

Can it be a corrupted cardartlib.dll file or something like that ?
It's the last thing that is missing now. It must be possible somehow.

Manalink3.0 which is the latest version and the one with all previous mods and cards available is what you need.Go in Manalink3.0 installation,extract it and play.
If I am not wrong it is uptodate with last patch M13V3.
THEN REBOOT YOUR PC.
If then you have any installation issues report them here and we will try to help you.
Don't install over it nothing.
